Melanie Colwell, CFP®, joined Galecki Financial Management in 2005 as a Paraplanner in the Financial Planning Department.  She earned her Associates Degree in Paralegal Studies from International Business College in 2000 and previously served as a Paralegal with a local insurance defense litigation law firm.

In 2006, Melanie graduated from The American College with her Financial Planning Certificate. Melanie passed the national board exam and officially became a Certified Financial Planner^® professional in January 2007.

 Melanie works primarily with our financial planning clients. Her primary focus is to analyze their cash flow, risk management, estate planning, and retirement projections. She prepares and presents all analyses involved in the comprehensive financial planning process. Melanie continues to work closely with Greg to assure that we are utilizing the most up to date financial planning techniques.

 Melanie is an integral voting member of the Investment Committee. Along with Greg Galecki, Brady McArdle and Albert Kohout, she helps research and analyze our preferred allocation for our asset management clients. She meets regularly with clients reviewing their financial plans and asset management reports.

Outside of Galecki, Melanie enjoys spending time with her husband Glen and their three children; Dylan, Dawson and Reagan.
