Melanie Colwell, CFP®, joined Galecki Financial Management in 2005 as a Paraplanner in the Financial Planning Department. She earned her Associates Degree in Paralegal Studies from International Business College in 2000 and previously served as a Paralegal with a local insurance defense litigation law firm.
Melanie's position at Galecki entails preparing for and participating in financial planning client meetings. She performs cash flow analysis, life insurance analysis, disability analysis, long-term care analysis, and estate analysis. Likewise, she updates client Financial Statements and reviews the same during client meetings. In addition, she prepares Annual Financial Plan Reviews for financial planning clients.
Melanie recently completed her CFP® coursework and in 2007, received her CFP® designation.
Outside of Galecki, Melanie focuses her time on her two children, Dylan and Dawson.
Melanie is excited to establish closer relationships with our clients as we integrate her into a more active role as a Certified Financial Planner®.
